Mr. Fitrat said in a press release: “Regarding the latest report of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Afghanistan (UNAMA), we request the said office to conduct its evaluations as an impartial global organization based on accurate information and concrete facts.”
He added that in the said report, the arrests of some violators by the Ministry of Prohibition, Prohibition and Hearing of Complaints and other official agencies were called “arbitrary”, while the said arrests were carried out in accordance with the laws and regulations of the relevant agencies, with the aim of preventing illegal activities and reforming individuals, and not in an arbitrary manner.
By nature, such legal arrests of criminals are carried out by governments all over the world.
The Deputy Spokesman added: “We have a question from UNAMA, why has it not reflected in its reports on the efforts and developments made by the various institutions of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for humanitarian aid, resettlement of returning refugees, prevention of security threats, political developments and the implementation of major economic programs, which are human works?” ».
Mr. Fitrat also said; Instead of UNAMA as an impartial institution working to eliminate the closeness and misunderstandings between Afghanistan and the international community, on the contrary, as a biased organization, it is engaged in propaganda against the system inside Afghanistan and tries to present a bad image of Afghanistan to the world, which does not indicate their impartiality.
