PARAMARIBO — The Suriname Police Force held a motivation session on Thursday for the students of the evening havo southwest. This will be reported on Saturday on its own website.
The activity emphasized self-confidence, perseverance and prioritization. According to the police, students who attend courses in the evenings are sometimes confronted with circumstances that force them to temporarily interrupt their studies to work or take on other responsibilities. “In most cases, they decide after a while to resume their education and still work on obtaining their diploma,” it is noted.
“Keep believing in yourself, keep your goal in mind and don’t give up!”
The target group was told that this does not make them less than others. “On the contrary… it is admirable that through their courage, determination, perseverance and despite the challenges on their life path, they once again take the step to pursue education and pursue personal goals.”
The KPS therefore encouraged students on Thursday to continue to believe in themselves, to consciously set their priorities and to stick to the reason why they started their education. Police Officer Sweet emphasized the importance of perseverance and continuing to pursue personal goals, regardless of the challenges encountered along the way.
The KPS hopes that the message will inspire and motivate students to continue with renewed courage and successfully complete the current school year. “Keep believing in yourself, keep your goal in mind and don’t give up!” is finally given to them.
