A Danish court sentenced a 30-year-old French-Danish man to six years in prison for promoting terrorism by sharing far-right materials on social media.
The man was found to have glorified terrorism by sharing far-right content on Telegram within a network on the app known as “Terrorgram”, between June 2023 and December 2024, the Glostrup district court found.
“Although the 30-year-old did not himself share Terrorgram’s publications or call for specific terrorist attacks, the court… found that it must have been clear to the 30-year-old that his sharing of propaganda material was meant to further Terrorgram’s activities,” the court said in a statement.
The “Terrorgram” network is a decentralized network of Telegram accounts and channels and was classified as a terrorist group by the United States in 2025.

The convicted man, who was born in France but had lived in Denmark since the age of two, was also stripped of his Danish nationality and ordered expelled from the country.
The man, who has appealed, pleaded not guilty, saying he was relaying public and satirical information.
