This delegation, which was led by the Deputy Director of the Cultural Heritage Administration of Uzbekistan Azizjan Arifjanov and the Consul General of this country in Balkh, Jafar Fatahov, had a conversation with the head of Faryab Information and Culture Maulvi Shamsuddin Mohammadi.
The Head of Information and Culture of Faryab Maulvi Shamsuddin Mohammadi welcomed the Uzbek delegation and gave information about the historical monuments of Andakhoi district and shared his suggestions for the restoration, protection and maintenance of these monuments.
In continuation of the visit, the said delegation has visited the historic Abda of Babaoli, Jama Masjid, Madrasa, Shibani historical pool and the shrine of the Fourteen Innocents.
The cultural delegation of Uzbekistan emphasized on the preservation and protection of historical and cultural heritages and expressed its satisfaction with the efforts of the Department of Information and Culture of Faryab in the protection of these monuments.
