Maulvi Bari Dad Saber, Head of Badghis Disaster Preparedness, told Bakhtar Agency that these projects include the cleaning of canals and the construction of retaining and gabion walls and water dams.
He added that with the completion of these projects, 514 families will be protected from irrigation of agricultural lands and possible floods.
