The Deputy Governor of Paktia Mohammad Anwar Dinparr praised the actions of Gardez Municipality during the commencement of the said projects and welcomed the implementation of these projects.
He advised the relevant officials and the contracting company to pay serious attention to the quality of work, construction standards and fixed schedule during the implementation of the projects and to complete the work with good quality within the specified period.
At the same time, Gardez Mayor Habibullah Akhundzada Hamid said about these projects that these projects are implemented from the development budget of the municipality, which aims to develop urban services, the beauty and fertility of the city, and the strengthening of revenue sources.
According to him, in these projects, in order to increase the revenue of the municipality, the construction of a four-story residential building, the renovation of the assembly hall, the construction of green areas, the construction of two greenhouses for the training of plants and ornamental plants, the installation of 210 garbage bins in the city, the repair of flower beds from Khost Gard Lane to Abdul Hayazi High School, the installation of new fences on flower beds and ornamental plants in flower beds and intersections. Well training involves digging wells.
Hamid added that the construction of public toilets in the city, the completion of the preliminary works of the Gardez-Balada road survey, the construction of an addressing system for the city, the construction of a standard archive for the safe protection of administrative documents, and the procurement of vehicles for the municipality are also in the procurement stages.
According to him, the process of giving 29 million afghanis acquisition rights to the affected families due to the implementation of the road plan has also started.
The mayor of Gardez assured that, taking into account the available possibilities, he will continue his efforts to meet the basic needs of the city, strengthen the sources of income, develop urban services and beautify the city.
