These projects include the construction of a terminal for passenger vehicles, a special terminal for freight vehicles and a terpark for transit vehicles.
In this visit, Finance and Administrative Minister of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation, Hafiz Siddiqullah Abid, said that land will be determined in a suitable area of Gardez city for the terminal of passenger cars, so that the urban order and the transportation needs of the people are taken into consideration.
The governor of Paktia has welcomed the mentioned projects and said that due to the geographical and transportation importance of Paktia, the implementation of these projects is important and the provincial administration will provide necessary cooperation in this regard.
He called the construction of an airport in this province a serious need and requested the attention of the ministry in this regard.
