SAN MARINO – The affair involving Giochi del Titano, on which the judiciary will have to ascertain the facts and responsibilities, represents, according to Domani-Motus Liberi, yet another episode in a sequence of cases that risks fueling scandals, suspicions and reputational damage for San Marino.
The political movement distances itself from what it defines as a political system that would have allowed the name of the Republic to be associated “with the interests of the few, with the clever, with opaque affairs”, rather than with the work, enterprise, innovation and skills of the San Marino people.
“This is not our San Marino. And this is not the politics we represent”, says Domani-Motus Liberi, indicating as the objective a country capable of competing and attracting investments, building an international reputation based on credibility, transparency and respect for the rules.
The movement therefore calls for a “clear divide” between those who consider the State, institutions and laws to be instruments to be bent to the interests of a system and those who, instead, intend to bring them back to the service of citizens and the general interest.
Tomorrow-Motus Liberi addresses the appeal to political forces, trade associations, trade unions, citizens and in particular young people who want to contribute to a different San Marino. “Do not be afraid, do not be persuaded by favors or dissuaded by intimidation”, is the final invitation of the movement, which maintains that “the time for justifications is over”.
