The deputy governor of Kunar, Maulvi Abdullah Haqqani, said at the ceremony of benefiting from the said project, that most of the affairs of the institutions in the districts have been digitized, but due to the lack of electricity, the administrative affairs were facing delays and problems.
Although the problem of electricity in many government institutions and people’s houses has been solved with the help of solar power in Kunar, but the construction of power dams on the Bhandu rivers of this province is still one of the main demands and hopes of the residents of Kunar.
This is in a situation where a contract for the construction of a 2 megawatt power plant in Managi has been signed some time ago, but the practical works have not yet started.
