The Andorran police and customs officers have seized the Pas de la Casa seven bundles with 3,750 packages of contraband tobacco, valued at close to 14,700 eurosas part of a joint surveillance, as shown in a video that the same law enforcement agency has published on the accountInstagram.
The modus operandi of the smugglers was to accumulate and hide the bundles with the merchandise in a sewer in the city of Encampada, as the law enforcement agency explained to the publication. The intervention of the customs bodies and the police made it possible to locate the hiding place and confiscate the tobacco.
