The police have arrested one of the drivers involved in the accident of traffic that took place last night atin the Trava area, in Canilloafter he tested positive for alcohol with a result greater than 0.87 grams of alcohol per liter of blood.
The accident between the two vehicles – one of them a red all-terrain vehicle – with Andorran registration took place around 9.30 pm on the General 2 road, very close to the petrol station Total Excellence and there were no injuries, according to the head of the fire brigade diary.
Three units of the fire brigade were mobilized to the scene, which were clearing the road, a patrol of police witnesses and traffic officers who directed and blocked traffic and collaborated with firefighters in the tasks of removing the affected vehicles and cleaning the road while the intervention of the emergency bodies lasted, since due to the crash, many of the car parts were scattered on the road.
Due to the impact, the red SUV would have collided with a piece of mountain that faces the right side of the road and the entire front part of the vehicle was damaged, but without more consequences than material damage. In addition, an eyewitness told the newspaper that the wheel of one of the two injured vehicles had exploded and that the three occupants of the cars – a man and two women, according to their version – they could have gotten out of the cars on their owndespite the strong scare.
