It provides solutions to the needs of institutions and project owners

On Thursday, the University of Algiers 3 launched an office for studies, research and development, as part of efforts to enhance the role of higher education institutions in the economic environment, by providing solutions that respond to the needs of institutions and project owners.
The launching ceremony of this office, which bears the name “Socred-UA3”, was held at the University’s Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, under the slogan “From academic experience to strategic solutions”, in the presence of frameworks from the higher education and scientific research sector, and officials of economic institutions.
The office represents a joint stock company, active as an economic branch of the University of “Algiers 3”, where it undertakes the provision of consulting and studies services, the completion of research, development and training work, and the accompaniment of projects for the benefit of economic and social partners, based on academic and professional expertise.
Rawski: We aspire to compete locally and internationally and position ourselves in the consulting market
In a speech he delivered on the occasion, the Director General of Scientific Research and Technological Development at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Muhammad Buhaisha, explained that the launch of this office “comes to embody the economic dimension of the university, to be a link between it and its economic environment,” allowing “the evaluation of research, academic, and consulting work and turning them into applications that benefit customers,” expressing his hope that this experience will be generalized to the rest of the university institutions.
For his part, the Director of the University of Algiers 3, Khaled Rawski, highlighted the importance of this step, considering that the “SOCRED” office represents “the first of its kind in the sector,” praising the frameworks with an international reputation on which the activity of this office is based.
By launching the office’s activity, the University of Algiers 3 aspires to “compete at the national, regional and international levels, and to position itself in the consulting market,” according to the director, who explained that “Sucred” seeks to become, by the year 2029, among the largest consulting offices in Algeria.
The Director General of the Socred Office, Bashir Kashroud, in turn, reviewed the office’s work methodology based on “moving from diagnosing the needs of institutions to designing solutions, implementing them, and evaluating their impact,” in addition to the approved mechanisms for governance, quality assurance, data protection, and intellectual property.
He also highlighted the roadmap for the period 2026-2029, which includes the action plan to expand partnerships and offers and enhance the organization’s presence.
The ceremony also included the launch of the office’s digital platform, in addition to the signing of partnership agreements with a number of economic institutions, to embody its objectives.
