Dr. Nasir Ahmad Halim, a specialist in general surgery and urology at Yashfin Hospital, told Bakhtar Agency that this hospital will provide 24-hour health services to the residents of the southeast zone, especially Khost.
According to him, medical services are provided by specialist doctors in the fields of general surgery, neurosurgery, pediatrics and orthopedics.
He added that about 6 million Afghanis have been invested in this hospital and 15 employees of different departments including X-ray, laboratory, nursing and other departments have been provided employment.
At the same time, Dr. Abdul Hakim Zadran, the former head of the Khost Doctors Association, called the start of this health center an important development for the health sector of Khost and said that in recent years, medicine in the country has moved towards specialization and specialists are being trained for different medical fields.
He added that four specialist doctors are working in this hospital and advised the officials of the health centers to treat the patients well and provide quality services to meet their treatment and health needs.
Another participant in the opening ceremony, teacher Karimullah Nazari, called the start of operation of Yashfin Hospital a good step for the residents of Khost and asked the officials to give priority to the quality of health services instead of the number of patients.
It is worth mentioning that a number of health centers have been activated in Khost in recent years.
