SAN MARINO – The San Marino Team was received at Palazzo Valloni by the Captains Regent Alice Mina And Vladimiro Selvain a hearing dedicated to celebrating the results obtained at the Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games.
The San Marino delegation won four medals: the golds of Jacopo Frisoni in the individual bowls and pairs test Enrico Dall’Olmo–Jacopo Frisoniin addition to the bronzes of Stella Paoletti And Giada Paoletti in women’s doubles and Alessandra Perilli in clay shooting.
The meeting also represented a moment of celebration for the entire San Marino Team, protagonist of an expedition characterized by records and performances that contributed to giving visibility to the Republic.
The Captains Regent underlined the value of the athletes’ commitment: “You have embodied a spirit of sacrifice, tenacity and passion. Your value goes beyond sporting results: you are examples for the young generations of San Marino”.
The Secretary of State for Sport Rossano Fabbri highlighted the significance of the results obtained: “Today we celebrate not only four medals, we also celebrate work, passion and feeling part of a team”.
The President of the CONS Christian Forcellini he thanked the institutions for the closeness shown during the event and underlined how each athlete gave their best, even in cases where the expected results did not arrive. “Taranto is not a point of arrival but a starting point,” he declared, also highlighting the increase in media attention towards the San Marino sports movement and the country.
