OSTIA LIDO – Michele Callini took third place in the Kumite Seniores -60 kg at the Memorial Andrea Nekoofar, held on 19 September in Ostia Lido, Rome.
The captain of the San Marino national karate team reached the podium in the competition organized by the Italian Judo Wrestling Karate Arts Martial Arts Federation in collaboration with CSEN.
Callini, athlete of the San Marino Martial Arts Federation, competed with the colors of Ciudan Karate Montefeltro, a club from the Marche region with which he carries out his competitive activity in Italy. The teacher and coach followed him on the tatami Francesco Alessandroni.
The bronze represents a further positive result in view of the upcoming international events. Attention is now turned to the European Small States Karate Championships, scheduled in Malta in early October, where Michele Callini he will be engaged in Kumite with the San Marino national team.
