After several years of cooperation with Greenlandic companies, Nema is now strengthening its presence in Greenland. With a local base in Nuuk, the Faroese IT company gets closer to the Greenlandic market and builds on the relationships and experiences that have already been established.

Over several years, Nema has supplied business systems to Greenlandic companies, including Nuuk Transport and Royal Greenland. At the same time, the company is experiencing an increasing interest in digital solutions that can make daily administration simpler and create better coherence across the company.
We already have a good foundation in Greenland with strong customer relations and several years of experience on the market. Now we are taking the next step and strengthening our presence so that we can get even closer to both current and new customers. We see great potential in Greenland and look forward to building on what we have already created.
Integrated systems for a simpler working day
Nema develops business systems within payroll, HR, accounting, time recording and journaling. The systems can be used separately, but can also be integrated so that information can be shared crosswise, and companies avoid unnecessary duplication of work and manual workflows.
In Greenland, Nema offers Salary, HR, Accounting, Time, Journal and Workflow. What the solutions have in common is that they must make administration simpler, create a better overview and free up time for the company’s core tasks.
Heini Hansen will be responsible for the customers in Greenland
As part of the strengthened presence, Heini Hansen becomes Key Account for the Greenlandic market and has a central role in contact with both current and new customers.
Heini currently works with support of Nema’s business systems and has, over the years, serviced e.g. Royal Greenland and Nuuk Transport. He therefore already knows both the customers, the solutions and many of the needs that arise in daily use.

– It means a lot that we are not starting from scratch. Over several years, I have had close contact with our customers in Greenland and helped them with our systems in everyday life. I look forward to building on those relationships and being even more accessible to both current and new customers, says Heini Hansen.
Local base in Nuuk
The local presence is established in collaboration with Arctic Print, which gives Nema a base and address in Nuuk. The collaboration will make it easier to be close to the market and create contact with companies and organizations locally.
– We know the Greenlandic market and see a good match between Nema’s solutions and the needs we meet with companies here. Nema already has experience and customers in Greenland, and we look forward to helping to strengthen their local presence and create new relationships, says Klaus Karlshøj Poulsen, director at Arctic Print.
The establishment in Nuuk is thus a natural further development of Nema’s existing activities in Greenland. With several years of experience, existing customers and a stronger local presence, the aim is to make Nema’s solutions even more accessible to Greenlandic companies and organisations.
