The former deputy of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji, claims that today at Rinas Airport, Prime Minister Edi Rama and the head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a “head-to-head” meeting.
In one of his reactions, Salianji raises questions about the content of the conversation between the two politicians and requests that it be made public.
He emphasizes that citizens have the right to receive answers, especially for the fact that, according to him, this is the second time that Rama and Berisha are simultaneously in the VIP section of the airport.
“Edi Rama must leave with the strength of united citizens, in the squares and on the streets. Every hour more in power is one more hour of service to the capture of the state, organized crime groups and the destruction of institutions.
Rama does not know the rules of democracy. Therefore, citizens should make it clear that power is not personal property and Albania is not a hostage to anyone.
But today there is also a question that requires a clear answer:
Sali Berisha has the political and moral obligation to make public what was discussed with Edi Rama at the airport.
What was discussed?
Did Edi Rama withdraw from his resignation after this conversation?
Were mutual guarantees of each other’s inviolability discussed?
Was there any agreement to keep Albania hostage to an old political scheme?
These are questions that citizens have the right to ask and that require transparency since it was the second time “by chance” that Rama and Berisha are found in the VIP section of the airport at the same time.
