Albanians in Texas tomorrow protest against the punishment of the former leaders of the KLA

The Albanian community in Texas, on Monday at 13:00 local time, will hold a protest in Austin against the verdict of the Kosovo Specialized Chambers against the leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
The Albanian community in Texas is among the active Albanian communities in the USA, with continuous engagement in the public, cultural and community life of the state.
The protest aims to express the opposition of the Albanian community in the USA regarding the court’s decision and to recall the role of the KLA for the protection of the home threshold and for the freedom of Kosovo.
Otherwise, the American congressman from Texas, Keith Self, two days before the announcement of the verdict, on September 14, expressed concern about the possible influence of “political bias” in the decision-making of justice institutions in The Hague.
“I hope that such partiality will not appear this week, when the decision is taken in the trial of Hashim Thaçi and three Albanian civilians who fought for independence after years of Serbian oppression,” Self wrote in X.
The protest will be held in Austin, where the Albanian community will convey the message in support of the KLA war and its leaders.
