Six search and seizure procedures carried out simultaneously in Santa Marta and Ciénaga ended with the capture of 13 people suspected of having links with the Self-Defense Forces of the Sierra, or ‘the Pachenca’. Among them was Yolima Johana Murgas Guzmán, identified by the authorities as the romantic partner of Freddy Castillo Carrillo, alias Pinocchio, main leader of that structure.
The procedure took place this Thursday with participation of the Santa Marta Metropolitan Police and the National Army. Search warrants were issued within an investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office 39.
