The conference, entitled “Technological Advances in Geriatrics Care: Present and Future”, will bring together internationally renowned speakers to delve into the most recent developments in gerontology and geriatrics, in a context marked by the aging population and the growing need to maintain autonomy, functional capacity and quality of life for longer.

The scientific sessions will be dedicated in particular to technological innovation, telemedicine, gerontechnology and new models of territorial assistance. There is also space for the prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases, frailty, polypharmacy, nutrition, sarcopenia, neurodegenerative diseases, cognitive disorders and Alzheimer’s. The ASGG, born in San Marino in 2009 and chaired by Dr Carlo Renzinioperates in information, scientific dissemination and training of medical, health and social-health workers. His activities also include the “Giancarlo Ghironzi” Master’s Degree in Geriatric Medicine, created with the University of the Republic of San Marino and the University of Ferrara.
