Football fans heading to Windsor Park Sports Stadium on Monday will now have to adjust their plans, as the Dominica Football Association (DFA) has moved the start time for the senior men’s friendly against Anguilla.
The match, originally scheduled for 8:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2026, will instead get underway at 11:00 AM.
The DFA announced the change in a press release, explaining that it was necessary because of logistical considerations connected to the upcoming Concacaf Nations League matches being hosted in Dominica.
The Association apologized for any inconvenience the revised time may cause supporters, members of the public and media, while thanking them for their understanding and continued support.
The DFA is encouraging fans to turn out at Windsor Park at 11:00 AM to back the national team as it prepares for its 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League campaign.
Dominica will remain at home for its next two competitive fixtures, with both matches scheduled for 8:00 PM at Windsor Park.
The first will be against the Cayman Islands on Thursday, September 24, followed by a match against Puerto Rico on Sunday, September 27.
The two fixtures form part of Dominica’s 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League League B campaign. The Dominican team has been drawn in Group A with Guyana, Puerto Rico and the Cayman Islands.
The DFA is also appealing to Dominican football supporters to come out in large numbers for the Nations League matches and provide strong home support for the national team.
