Fraser, 17, made light work of veteran Linda Partap-Boodhan of Tunapuna Hindu School in the title-decider, 11-6, 11-2, 11-1, and 11-4 to add to her previous triumphs in 2023 and 2024.

    In the semifinals, Fraser battled past last year’s winner and Queen’s Park Cricket Club’s ace, Imani Edwards-Taylor (10-12, 11-4, 9-11, 11-5, 11-6, 11-7), and Partap-Boodhan came from 0-3 down in sets to rally past another QPCC player, Jordan Thong (4-11, 8-11, 8-11, 11-9, 12-10, 11-4, 11-7).

In the group phase Fraser had wins over Rebecca Sterling and Hidayah Mohammed before she was handed a round-of-16 bye in the main draw, followed by a victory against Lyllana Boodhan, Partap-Boodhan’s daughter, in the quarterfinals, while Partap-Boodhan defeated Priyanka Khellawan and Everleigh McKenna in group play ahead of a round-of-16 bye and a quarterfinal triumph against Jannah Mohammed.

Fraser was also a winner in the mixed doubles competition with clubmate Nirav Basant. The pair defeated QPCC’s Jonathan Cottoy and Thong 11-4, 11-8, and 11-5 for the title.

Before the final, Fraser and Basant began registering a 11-13, 16-14, 12-10, and 11-7 win over Josiah Joseph and Khellawan in the round-of-16 play, before beating Sekel Mc Intosh and Edwards-Taylor, 15-13, 8-11, and 11-7; and 11-8 and Everton Sorzano and Partap-Boodhan, 11-7, 11-9, and 11-7 in the semifinals. While at the other side of the draw, Cottoy and Thong eased past Emmanuel Chuniesingh and Cindy Lavia, 11-6, 11-5, and 11-7; Samuel Humphreys and Yzabelle Morris, 12-10, 7-11, and 11-6; and Curtis Humphreys and Lylanna Boodhan, 11-8, 10-12, 6-11, and 11-8, 11-9.

However, in the women’s doubles, Edwards-Taylor and Thong had much better fortune, recording a 11-9, 11-7, 11-7 victory against Partap-Boodhan and Khellawan in the final.

On their way to the final, Edwards-Taylor and Thong stopped Nicole Adjodha and Yzabelle Morris 11-9, 11-4, and 11-5 in their semifinal after a first-round bye, while Partap-Boodhan and Khellawan ousted Mohammed and Jinai Samuel of QPCC 11-9, 11-8, and 11-9 after a last-eight bye as well.

On Saturday, Carenage Blasters’ duo, Gabriel John and Luc O’Young, captured the men’s doubles title.

In the championship decider, John and O’Young battled to a come-from-behind 3-11, 12-10, 11-0, 11-13, and 11-9 triumph over Andrew Edwards and Franklyn Seechan of Renegades.
