The Electoral Office of Dominica has advised the public that there will be no distribution of Voter Identification Cards at its Jewel Street, Roseau office on Monday, September 7, 2026.
The temporary suspension is due to the Roseau North Constituency by-election being held that day.
Distribution of Voter ID Cards will resume on Tuesday, September 8, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The Electoral Office is encouraging people
from Roseau Central, Roseau Valley and Roseau North to continue collecting their cards during the designated distribution hours for the
remainder of the week.
The Electoral Office has thanked members of the public for their cooperation and understanding as the by-election takes place. Electors are also being encouraged to make the necessary arrangements ahead of Election Day and to ensure they are familiar with the electoral procedures applicable to them.
