The Dominica Young Entrepreneurs Club (DYEC) is inviting the public to support its upcoming Talent Hunt 2026, an event designed to give young people a platform to showcase their abilities, creativity and aspirations.
According to a DYEC press release, the programme will feature music, dance, comedy and other forms of entertainment, along with performances by local entertainers and groups, including the Sisserou Singers. A panel of judges will also assess the contestants.
DYEC says the event reflects its broader commitment to youth development, guided by the principle: “The Youth Is Our Greatest Investment.”
The Talent Hunt will also raise funds for the organization’s ongoing programmes, which provide young people with mentorship, training, entrepreneurial development, strategic support and psychosocial assistance, particularly for youth at risk.
The club says proceeds will help maintain and strengthen those initiatives while giving contestants an opportunity to be seen, encouraged and supported.
“When you purchase a ticket, you are therefore doing more than securing admission to a show. You are contributing to an initiative that seeks to create opportunities, nurture potential, and invest in the development of young people,” outlined organizers.
The public is being encouraged to attend with family and friends, cheer on the participants and support the wider youth development effort.
