SANTIAGO: President José Antonio Kast of the Republic of Chile received Ambassador Abdulghaffar bin Abdulkareem al Balushi, who presented his credentials as non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Chile, at the Presidential Palace in the capital Santiago, on Saturday.
The President of Chile welcomed the ambassador, wishing him success in his new duties and expressing his hope for further development and growth in the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the President of the Republic of Chile, along with His Majesty’s wishes for continued health and happiness and continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Chile.
The President of the Republic of Chile asked the ambassador to convey his sincere greetings and wishes to His Majesty, along with his wishes to him for continued good health, wellbeing and a long life, and further progress and prosperity for the Omani people under His Majesty’s wise leadership. — ONA
