Well, the answers to those questions and more are now literally at your fingertips.
The Senior Courts launched its official website to give the public direct access to information and resources without having to call the court or travel long distances just to get guidance.
The website is also part of the Chief Justice’s push to modernise the judiciary and cut down on long-standing court delays. Chief Magistrate Deborah Rogers called the launch “a big win for the Magistrate Court”.
“Now we have our own platform where we’re able to speak for ourselves and really meet the public halfway in helping them understand how we operate and the role that they play in the justice system when they have to interact with us,” Rogers added.
The site includes updated application forms for various needs, information needed for court appearances, including how to request virtual hearings, and step-by-step guides of legal processes.
