A full-scale rehearsal was conducted on Sunday ahead of the State Funeral for National Hero Sir Garfield Sobers.
During the morning’s proceedings, there was a ceremonial procession from Parliament Buildings to Kensington Oval, where the official service will be held on Wednesday.

Personnel from the Barbados Defence Force and The Barbados Police Service rehearsed marching formations, ceremonial protocols and logistical arrangements along the route and at the prestigious grounds where Barbadians and persons from around the world are expected to gather to pay their final respects to the cricketing icon, widely regarded as one of the greatest all-rounders of the sport.
Throughout the proceedings, event personnel and media managers were also briefed on procedural guidelines.
