Salarzi Stanikzai, the press officer of Logar Disaster Preparedness Department, told Bakhtar News Agency that floods have caused huge financial losses to people in Zahadabad, Dashtak, Abbazak, Gamran and some other areas of Mohammad Agha district.
According to him, according to the preliminary information, the floods have damaged agricultural lands, nearly 30 residential houses, roads, a mosque and a number of other public and private facilities.
Also, the officials of the Disaster Preparedness Department say that the technical and assessment teams of the said agency have reached the area and are in the process of assessing the damage, collecting information and providing first aid to the affected families.
According to officials, after the assessment is completed, the full details of the damage will be shared with the media.
It is worth noting that today floods have occurred in some areas of Azra district of Logar province due to heavy rains.
