The Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) has completed the investigations for another group of defendants in the “Metamorfoza” file, submitting the acts for trial to the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO). Among the defendants are Nuredin Dumani, repentant justice, Prekë Kodra, Ervis Martinaj, declared missing since August 2022, Aleks Ndreka, known as “Leksi i Druve”, as well as other persons connected to the criminal group “Bajri”.
Prosecutors Arben Kraja and Bledar Maksuti have filed charges related to the murder of Gjin Boric Ndoj in Vaun e Dejës, an event that occurred in 2020. Businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, Behar Bajri (Brajović) and other defendants are being tried earlier for the same case. According to SPAK, the defendants will also face justice for creating the conditions for the murder of Ibrahim Lic, Dorian Dulit and Genc Tafili, considered opponents of the “Bajri” group, as well as for creating the conditions for the murder of Kleant Musabelli.
Accusations such as:
“Premeditated murder”, committed in the special form of cooperation;
“Structured criminal group”;
“Providing the conditions and means to commit murder”;
as well as other criminal acts.
The file is expected to be submitted to the electronic lottery at GJKKO for the appointment of the judge who will consider the case in the preliminary session. The “Metamorfoza” file, the first built by SPAK on the communications of the encrypted Sky ECC platform, has been divided into several fractions. Final decisions have already been given for some of the defendants, while the rest of the cases continue to be examined in court.
