The European University (eUniv) celebrated the graduation ceremony of its third class yesterday evening in a ceremony that brought together more than a hundred students and nearly 400 attendees at theClaror Auditorium of the Lauredià Cultural and Congress Centerwhich recorded an absolute full house. The act, chaired by the rector of the institution, Anthony Nogueroserved to commemorate a new promotion of students and highlight the consolidation of the university project six years after its implementation in principality.
The ceremony was attended by the chancellor of the university, Jesús M. Prujà; from the president of Andorra Cluster of Technology and Innovation (ACTINN), Albert Moleswho acted as godfather of the promotion, and of the director of theHigher Education Quality Agency of Andorra (AQUA), Isaac Galobardes.
One of the highlights of the event was the intervention ofEva Choy, graduate of the Master in Business Administration (MBA), who, on behalf of the students, highlighted the effort, constancy and commitment shared during the academic journey. During the ceremony, the scholarships were also awarded to the new graduates and the doctoral medals a Rodrigo Cabedo and Ángeles Corredorwho have defended their doctoral thesis this year.
Coinciding with the graduation, the European Universitya has highlighted its growth since the beginning of the activity, in 2020. It currently offers nearly twenty degrees and has trained more than a hundred graduates, while more than half a thousand students have passed through its classrooms, both in person and online.
In this context, the institution’s academic secretary, Marc Escolà, has highlighted the university’s commitment to the country, noting that it has a staff of 92 professors. Likewise, he has positively assessed the legislative reform on higher education promoted by the principalityconsidering that it will contribute to improving the functioning and development of the Andorran university system.
