The homicide was recorded by neighborhood security cameras. In the images, an individual wearing a white hooded sweatshirt is seen stealthily approaching the taxi driver’s car. He pulled out a firearm and directly fired at least three shots at the driver’s window and then fled the scene along the sidewalk.
During the first investigations and inspection of the vehicle by the National Police, an extortionate manuscript left by the murderer prior to his escape was found. Police sources revealed that the text demanded an alleged “alignment” of the deceased transporter and bore the signature of a criminal gang calling itself ‘The Mexicans’.
