The Soldeu Major Festival this Sunday put the finishing touches to a new edition marked by the high participation in the scheduled activities and by the premiere of the Labyrinth on a human scale, one of the main novelties of this year’s celebration.
The new facility, managed by Great valuewas officially presented this Sunday after the solemn mass in the church of Saint Bartholomew. Neighbors, visitors and municipal authorities have visited this new space, designed to promote participation, cohesion and the identity of the town, and which aspires to consolidate itself as an emblematic activity for future editions of the festival.

Throughout the weekend, the program included sports, children’s, family and traditional activities. Saturday’s day also included the traditional popular hamburger, followed by the concert of the Old School group and a musical session with DJ Tom. The celebration will close this Sunday night with the traditional popular dinner and the performance of Manu.

The Consul Major of Canillo, Jordi Alcobéhas positively assessed the response of the citizens and highlighted the involvement of the neighbors, visitors and the Party Committee in the organization of events. He also assured that the opening of the Labyrinth on a human scale “has exceeded expectations” and considered that the initiative complements the tourist offer of Grandvalira and Canillo.
