Police are investigating Friday’s Murder of a 33-year-old construction worker Ricky Dawson Jr from the Santa Cruz Area of Santa Elena Town.
According to police reports, Dawson Jr was fatally shot and found motionless “with a broken leg” roughly 100 yards from his home in Santa Elena Town. Police say he had just arrived home and was on the phone when a black SUV approached him. Occupants opened fire. “occupants fired several shots towards him, resulting in his fatal injuries,” police reported.
Dawson Jr was rushed to San Ignacio Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police have not confirmed a motive.
Meanwhile, family members are mourning his sudden Murder. His father wrote, “Rest in peace my son Rick! we will forever love an miss you!!”
Another relative pushed back on any suggestion Dawson had enemies, stating, “He Neva hurt anybody or create enemies!! All about making your money and build a future fu your daughter! People just badmind and jealous!!!”
