Veteran French coach Claude Leroy launched a scathing attack on FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
Le Roy said in his statements during his appearance on the program “L’Equipe du Soir”“I am surprised that this man is still at the helm of FIFA, and I do not understand how it is acceptable that he seems to be almost the only candidate in the upcoming elections.”
The veteran French coach added: “He has one advantage, which is that he speaks several languages. But he is a multilingual fool, and a danger to football. He did not bring anything positive to this sport at all, but rather made it seem to everyone to be a controversial sport.”
He continued: “The matter is not limited to the controversy surrounding the World Cup, but it also includes the African Cup of Nations, and his relationship with the Confederation of African Football. He sees himself as the savior in the African Cup, something he does not dare to do even for a moment in the European Championship, the Copa America, or the Asian Cup.”
