Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the way the protest was conducted mainly in front of the Parliament, stressing that turning to physical violence is the only thing that this protest can produce.
“The transition to physical violence is the only thing that can be produced now by the black crust of losers of Tirana’s political-media boulevard, collectors of criminal precedents and foreign hands behind them! You still need patience and then it’s time to reflect “, writes Prime Minister Rama.
Prime Minister Rama’s reaction comes after the protest that took place today in front of the Parliament where the protesters physically clashed with the police, which was arrested with arrests and the use of tear gas.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health announced that 16 people received medical treatment, among them 14 members of the State Police and 2 protesters.
Four of the operatives continue to receive medical treatment, while the rest, including the protesters, have left the hospital after receiving the necessary assistance.
Meanwhile, a police officer and two protesters were also treated at the “Mother Teresa” University Hospital Center (QSUT). According to health authorities, all three have left the hospital premises after receiving medical aid.
In total, 19 people received medical treatment during the protest, among them 15 police officers and 4 protesters.
