Iran’s complaint is on the way / The Ramadan war case is going to international courts

According to the online economy report, quoted by ISNA, Hojjat-ul-Islam Majid Ansari, in a joint meeting with the head of the Red Crescent Society, appreciated the actions of this organization during the 12-day and 40-day war and further reminded: the legal assistant of the presidency, both in the 12-day war and in the Ramadan war, from the beginning of the events, according to the mission assigned by the Supreme National Security Council and the order of the president, took responsibility for documenting the legal dimensions of the war. In this regard, a headquarters was formed with the participation of various institutions to carry out the documentation process in a specialized and detailed manner, but this work was also very difficult from a technical point of view; Because the documents related to the damages had to be prepared in accordance with the procedures and standards of proceedings in the international courts in order to be able to be cited in the world forums. Inside the country, it was necessary to follow the rules related to filing lawsuits, issuing judgments and handling cases, which was done.

The legal deputy of the president said: In the context of the Ramadan war, the final stages of documenting and completing the case are being done so that an official complaint can be registered in the same court, and also, filing a lawsuit and filing a complaint in other authorities and international courts is also being pursued, taking into account all legal considerations and complexities, within the framework of the decisions of the Supreme National Security Council, the Legal Committee and with the coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Clarification actions of the Red Crescent Society are very important and path-breaking, and the continuation of this cooperation can help us achieve our legal goals.

He added: We know that the international legal system and many international legal bodies are still under the domination and pressure of big powers, especially the United States, and for this reason, the necessary reactions and actions did not take place as they should have. The crimes committed by America and the Zionist regime in these two wars, if it were not for their support and influence on international institutions, would undoubtedly have been met with wider reactions and more serious practical measures.

The member of the Expediency Assessment Council recalled: Our dear martyred leader emphasized that during the 12-day war, we should not only pay attention to the immediate effects of these pursuits; Because international legal proceedings have a long process. He stated that even if this path takes twenty years, it should be continued. Based on this, from now on, the legal pursuit and the launch of an international legal campaign should continue and be followed more seriously; Because understanding, agreeing and solving issues through diplomacy is an independent issue, but vindicating the rights of the Iranian people and claiming damages is also an indisputable right that should not be neglected.

Emphasizing that the human and spiritual losses cannot be compensated, Ansari clarified: the extensive damages that have been caused to the country’s infrastructure, public and private property, and Iranian citizens, must be demanded through legal channels and the inalienable rights of the Iranian nation must be fulfilled. One of the most important achievements of this war, in my opinion, along with other achievements, was removing the veil from the face of human rights claimants; Those who, with a deceptive appearance and relying on international organizations, from the United Nations to other institutions, presented themselves as defenders of human rights and held other countries accountable.

He added: In this war, their true face was revealed and the true nature of Western and American human rights was revealed to everyone. Human rights that, when conflicting with the interests of great powers, turn a blind eye to the bombing of schools, the martyrdom of dozens of innocent children, and other obvious crimes. One of the most important damages that this war left in the international arena was the weakening and destruction of the international law system, and it is necessary to seriously research this issue. What is the exact purpose of the United Nations, the Security Council and other international institutions and what is their philosophy of existence? Today, documenting the crimes of the American government and the Zionist regime has become much easier than in the past; Because they openly announced the crime before committing the crime with the utmost insolence.

The legal deputy of the president stated: It is surprising how the American society accepts such behavior from its government. The damage these actions have caused to the dignity of America and what they call “American civilization” is very deep and irreparable. These events once again proved the legitimacy of Iran in many of the positions it has raised in the past years; That the structures created by big powers in the international arena serve their own interests and not the justice and rights of nations. It is a rare event in history that a country that was considered by many as a third world country, was able to stand with authority against two major regional and global military powers, especially America, which has the most advanced equipment and military power in contemporary history.

Referring to the factors of the Iranian people’s victory in the recent war, he said: This victory had several basic components. The first and most important component was the great nation of Iran; A revolutionary, cultured nation with a deep-rooted, resistant civilization and strong will. People, despite all the complaints, economic problems, livelihood difficulties and dissatisfactions that existed in some areas, as soon as this aggression started, they put aside internal differences and distinguished between their daily issues and their national and historical duty. It was these people who completed the work and stood beside each other without any religious, religious, ethnic, racial or linguistic distinction and all with a single Iranian identity.

Ansari continued: On another level were the powerful armed forces of Iran, who created a lasting credit for Iran and the history of this land with courage, sacrifice and authority. Iran’s history has seen many wars, but this battle was different from all of them in various ways, and the armed forces’ resistance against bullies became one of the most prominent manifestations of national power. Another important factor was the wise command of the martyred leader in the 12-day war. Only hours after the beginning of the enemy’s aggression, despite the great loss of the martyrdom of the commanders, they quickly appointed their successors and took command of the field with authority. This intelligent management continued until the end of the war and showed the efficiency of the structure of the system and the religious authority.

He added: The quick determination of the supreme leader of the revolution in a very difficult situation, while the enemy had targeted the main decision-making centers of the country, including the buildings related to the Assembly of Experts, the Expediency Council and other strategic institutions, showed that the strong and organized structure that was designed in the constitution and under the guidance of Imam Rahel has high power and efficiency.

The member of the Expediency Assessment Council reminded: Undoubtedly, the heat was heavy and the damages were many, and hard blows were inflicted on the country; But the system remained, the structures remained stable and proved their efficiency. Along with all these factors, the government in the general sense of the word, i.e. the set of three forces and especially the executive branch, which was the flagship of providing services to the people, really showed a brilliant performance.

Referring to the activities of the government during the Ramadan war, the legal deputy of the president said: the president continuously visited the ministries, executive bodies and relief centers, including the Red Crescent Society. Also, by dividing the appropriate work and assigning broad powers to the governors, which was already a part of it, it was announced that every governor in his province has full powers, in the capacity of the president. This plan responded well and the enemy, who was looking for the collapse of the country’s management system, not only did not achieve his goal, but the country’s management cohesion was strengthened more than before. Each ministry was literally on the front lines of an all-out battle.
