According to information from the Citizen Portal of the EdomexIn 2025, the main reasons for fines were invading or driving in the exclusive Mexibus lanes, driving at excess speed, driving without a seat belt, driving without a verification hologram and parking in prohibited places or double parking.

- Once you have entered the site, log in with your Unique Code for Procedures and Services (CUTS) or create one if you do not have it.
- Then go to “Payment of traffic fines.”
- Write the plate, license and NIV.
- Select the pending fine and generate the payment format (or capture line).
- If you prefer, pay on the same site with your credit or debit card.
- Or, print the capture line to pay at a bank or authorized store.
According to the Secretariat of Citizen Security, not paying a fine It could cause setbacks when carrying out vehicular procedures such as:
- Vehicle verification
- Renewal or reissuance of driver’s license
- Data update
- Deregistration or change of vehicle owner
Remember that if you pay within the first 15 business days, you are entitled to obtain a 50% discount.
