The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monshaat) announced that the value of government fees recovered within the “Recovery” initiative exceeded 143 million riyals, from which more than 5,600 eligible small and medium enterprises benefited, while the number of establishments that initially met the eligibility conditions reached about 34 thousand establishments.
These numbers reflect the wide scope of benefit from the initiative, and its role in alleviating the financial burdens on emerging enterprises in the establishment and growth stage, as the initiative targets enterprises that began their activity during the period from 2024 to 2026, and includes 10 major government fees and costs.
The registration period continues until the end of 2026, and the work of disbursing the amounts due to eligible establishments will extend until 2028, in accordance with the payment schedule and approved controls.
The authority explained that the initiative enables eligible small and medium enterprises to recover a number of government fees in accordance with the approved controls and standards, including commercial registry fees, economic activity licenses, chambers of commerce subscriptions, Saudi Post subscriptions, and patent registration fees, in addition to recovering up to 80% of the foreign worker’s financial compensation.
The “Recovery” initiative comes within a package of programs that support establishments during its first three years, which contributes to improving operational liquidity, enhancing financial stability, and supporting the growth and sustainability of establishments.
“Monshaat” confirmed the continuation of disbursing dues to eligible establishments in accordance with the approved controls and procedures, while allowing registration for eligible establishments until the end of 2026, calling on owners of small and medium enterprises to verify their eligibility and register through the “Recovery” platform through the link: https://estrdad.monshaat.gov.sa/home.
