According to the preliminary information, the epicenter of the earthquake was recorded at about 81 km from Kalfgan district of Takhar province of Afghanistan and it was felt by people in some areas of Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, China, India and Kyrgyzstan in addition to Afghanistan.
So far, no official information has been released about the possible death or financial losses due to the earthquake and the relevant agencies are evaluating the situation.
Officials have asked people to take precautions during possible tremors and follow the instructions of official agencies.
