Given the magnitude of the humanitarian crisis and the extreme precariousness of local rescue services in Venezuela, migrants in Paraguayan territory work in a logistics network to send emergency assistance directly and safely.
Crude story from the epicenter of the disaster
Amanda Artilesa Venezuelan journalist who has lived in Asunción for eight years, recounted the terror she experienced with her family. A logistics network protected against corruption
Fearing that international donations end up diverted or confiscated by the Venezuelan state bureaucracy, the organization Reborn Paraguay designed an armored transfer circuit certified by international organizations.
Everything collected in Paraguay goes to the exclusive block provided by the Paraguayan Olympic Committee (COP) in Luque. There, a group of more than 27 volunteers classifies and packs the supplies.
Packages are transferred to the company DHLwhich operates with special flights authorized exclusively to enter humanitarian aid into the restricted airspace of Venezuela.

The cargo will arrive directly to the collection center of the Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB) in Caracas. This institution will deliver the shipments to the Venezuelan Red Cross already Caritas of Venezuelaentities validated by UNICEF and the Vatican. - Medical supplies (without prescription): Paracetamol, ibuprofen, syringes, saline solutions, air chambers and dressings.
- Food: Non-perishable products for immediate consumption.
- Hygiene: Personal hygiene items for the more than 2,900 families who were left homeless and are in temporary shelters.
At the same time, the coordinators of the operation request representations from the Presidency of the Republic of Paraguay, and request that, if the loading capacities of the private firms are exceeded, the Government evaluates sending military aircraft or of the Paraguayan public forces in the capacity of humanitarian flight to ensure the transfer of donations from the Paraguayan people to the Venezuelan citizens.
