The primary public prosecutor’s office in Shtip issued an order to conduct an investigation against a person who is suspected of having committed other sexual acts against a 16-year-old girl, punishable under Article 186 paragraph 7 in connection with paragraph 5 and paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
– On June 18, while the victim was walking along the footpath along the Bregalnica river in Shtip, the suspect started following her. The girl, feeling uncomfortable, sat down on a bench, expecting him to continue moving. But the suspect sat down next to her and started harassing her and forcing her to perform other sexual acts. The victim, scared, pushed him away and ran away – informs the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Due to the danger of escape, justified fear that the suspect will hide or destroy the traces of the crime and that he will hinder the criminal procedure by influencing the victim or that he will repeat the crime, the public prosecutor submitted to the judge of the preliminary procedure a proposal for determining the measure of detention.
