Singer Vaidas Baumila spoke openly about his self-confidence, his relationship with his appearance and how his attitude towards his natural features has changed over the years. The participants of the festival also actively participated in the discussion, according to the press release of the organizers.
The event was hosted by actress Justina Nemanytė. There was also a conversation on stage, in which psychologist Silvija Petkevičiūtė and curler Karolina Budrikienė participated. During the discussion, it was about self-acceptance, society’s expectations of appearance and how a person’s relationship with himself changes when he stops fighting with his natural features.
12 curling masters from various Lithuanian cities participated in the festival. They advised the guests of the event, shared hair care tips and helped them get to know their hair type better.
A live demonstration was also held, during which Dovilė Grabauskė, the founder of “Curly Curly”, demonstrated curling techniques on a model, which are usually presented in professional training sessions.
“We see that people come here not only for hair care. It is important for them to meet like-minded people, share their experiences and hear other people’s stories. It is these meetings that create the atmosphere of the festival”, says Dovilė Grabauskė, the organizer of the event.
