A large group of militants carried out a “banderazo” this Saturday in Parque Lezama to demand the freedom of the former president Cristina Kirchnerwho is serving house arrest for the Roads cause, and Kirchnerism highlighted that the mobilization also served to show “political muscle”.
After the event, the former president went out to the balcony to greet the column of protesters who mobilized to San José 1111where he is serving his sentence to house arrest.
Sheltered in a light blue and white fabric jacket, which represents the colors of the National Flag, Cristina Kirchner thanked the mobilization.
On the occasion of Flag Day, and under the slogan “For Argentina. For Cristina. Banderazo in Parque Lezama”, the gathered militants listened to the words of the deputy Maximo Kirchnerwho was the only speaker on stage.
In his speech, the legislator called for Peronist “unity” but without repeating past mistakes.
“It is one of the central points regarding how to build unity in Argentina; lest we reach the government again and someone eats our snot and again we go all the way back and we end up with a president even worse than the current one,” he warned, without naming names.
But the direct reference to the Buenos Aires governor, Axel Kicillofhad been there minutes before, when the representative of La Cámpora spoke of those who ask for “unity” and “They are not able to visit” to the former president.
“Those who talk about the unit every day are not even able to go see it at San José 1111 to see how it is and if it needs anything, that is the truth”he reproached.
It is known that Kicillof never approached the department where the former president has been under house arrest for a year.

From La Cámpora they highlighted the magnitude of the event. “The most compelling fact was the number of people. Also that there were many leaders. It was a strong speech and Kirchnerism showed muscle,” they were enthusiastic in dialogue with THE NATION.
They also highlighted the “absence” of leaders of the Right to the Future Movement (MDF), Kicillof’s space. Although the provincial deputy was Mariano Cascallaresclose to the governor, Kirchnerism clarified that the legislator and former mayor of Almirante Brown maintains a “long-standing relationship” with Christianity.
“If our people are not a priority, Why do we become leaders? And if we are afraid of representing the interests of the people, let’s step aside and let those who really have the courage to stand up to defend those who need it,” Máximo Kirchner had also warned.
The message from the ex-president’s son was directed to the Peronist internal party, where La Cámpora and Kirchnerism are facing Kicillof for the leadership of the opposition.
And in what sounded like another reference to the Buenos Aires president, the legislator expressed: “We want to have a candidate and not default candidates”.

Before, and in what was an allusion to the former president Alberto Fernandezthe representative of La Cámpora had pointed out that “it took a lot to recover the government in 2019, but for many it came from above. “They decided like statesmen and they had not gathered a vote”he added.
As part of his call for unity, Kirchner expressed: “Those people who mobilize in defense of their interests have to take a leap in quality. Not only mobilize for their own interests, but mobilize for the interest of the whole; “We have to give a great demonstration of solidarity between the sectors attacked by these economic policies.”.
“There will be no possibility of constructing a change in history if we do not construct a change from our relative truths.” “surpassing synthesis”he warned.
The message that Máximo Kirchner brought to the event
Although this time there was no audio from the former president, the representative of La Cámpora carried a message from his mother: “I don’t want to conclude without bringing you a greeting from comrade Cristina. Look, you don’t know, nor can you imagine, the joy it gives her when you go to see her. They don’t know or imagine how much they enjoy every honk that comes from the street.a morning, an afternoon or a night.”
And he recalled the bond that united him with his mother: “She was not the typical one who prepared your birthday cake, she was not the typical one who waited for you outside the school, but at 50 years old I can tell you something, she was a woman who opened my mind and filled me with dignity even when it was time to say goodbye to Nestor (Kirchner), and he took charge of everything without benefit of inventory, and he put himself in charge of his people to move it forward.”
“That woman is the one that many of us want to vote for. That woman is the one that many of us want to have back in the Casa Rosada,” he expressed, in an electoral key.
In this regard, he also considered that “It is very clear who should be the leader of this process”.
The calculation
The organizers estimated the attendance of “15 thousand” people at the event, which allows them to take advantage of the time to discuss the rearmed Peronist opposition.
Among the mayors were Federico Otermin (Lomas de Zamora), Mariel Fernandez (Dark), Alejandro Granados (Ezeiza), Federico Achaval (Pillar), Gustavo Menendez (Merlo) Damián Selci (Hurlingham), Juan Ustarroz (Mercedes), JUlian Alvarez (Lanus), Marisa Fassi (Cañuelas) and Leonardo boto (Luján), in addition to the provincial deputy Mayra Mendoza.
Also the senator Jorge Capitanich and the deputy Juan Graboisin addition to Guillermo Moreno.
In addition, the former vice president reappeared Beloved Boudouwho served time for the Ciccone case, and the former Secretary of Legal and Technical Carlos Zannini.
Presence of ‘axelism’
Beyond the reproaches of Máximo Kirchner, in Parque Lezama there were representatives of the Kicillof sector such as Gariel KatopodisBuenos Aires Minister of Public Works, who pointed out that “Cristina’s cause cannot have any nuances.”
“This is in defense of her freedom, her innocence and understanding that she was convicted for the things she did well,” he said and added: “We want an Argentina where people make decisions again and not four sectors that are friends of (Xavier) Milei“, expressed Katopodis from the square.
According to the popular farewell for the death of Indio Solari and the Kirchnerist liturgy, the event closed with My Dynamite Dog, Every Prisoner is Political and Let’s go bandsamong other songs by Patricio Rey and his Redonditos de Ricota, while the columns of militants mobilized to San José 1111, where the former president is serving her 6-year prison sentence.
