President Thongloun Sisoulith has sent a message of sympathy to Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. following the powerful earthquake that struck the southern Philippines on June 8.
In his message, sent on June 12, President Thongloun expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life and property caused by the disaster and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of the Philippines, particularly the families of those affected.
He also expressed confidence that, under the leadership of the Philippine Government, the country would overcome the challenges posed by the disaster and achieve a swift recovery.
