Activist Arben Kola, during the 16th protest for the resignation of Prime Minister Rama in Tirana, rejected the rumors of disunity among the organizers and clarified the debates created about the march the night before to Rinas Airport.
He announced that there is no division between them, but there were misunderstandings regarding the march and from this protest he will be at the head of the march together with the students, whom he described as vanguards of the protest.
“Since the march had nothing to do with the initiator group, nor with the organizers, from today I will be at the forefront of the march together with the students. But the students will be the vanguard of this march with a long banner, because the students have an unfinished battle in 2018 and now we have many battles until this one is gone and this government is defeated once and for all”. he said.
In his speech, Kola also spoke about the pressures and threats that, according to him, are being received by the organizers of the protest, stating that they come from “Edi Rama’s hand through Saliu’s hand”.
Arben Kola: As you have seen on social networks, many think that we are divided. We are not divided. There have been misunderstandings, there have been attempts, but we are not to be accused or to be enmity with anyone. The only common enemy today is Edi Rama and his government.
Therefore, to be understood, the march was organized by groups of young people, Generation Z, but I would say the most beautiful generation of the XXI century. Since the march had nothing to do with the initiator group, nor with the organizers, from today I will be at the forefront of the march together with the students.
But the students will be the vanguard of this march with a long banner, because the students have an unfinished battle in 2018 and now we have many battles until this one is gone and this government is put down once and for all.
To be clear with all Albanians, we have said that this is a model protest. We have said that the heart of the protest is the youth and the Albanian diaspora. How can we stop migrant people from coming by plane? You understand that the airport is the main node of life, which has changed the image of Albania. Albanians living abroad come and go from there.
So it is clear to everyone, there will never be an attempt to go to the airport, because it is also the place where tourists from all over the world come and join us here in protest. My life is directly related to tourism. I don’t even have shops for rent, I don’t have a business or a house, but I live in a rented house and my life is related to tourism. Therefore, there will be no violence until the end, until this political class is forced out.
We have said that this is the most beautiful popular revolt, a revolution that we will carry to the end together with you. And now you know that many of the threats that come to us, even privately, are the hand of Edi Rama through the hand of Saliu. Opposition sold out, opposition sold out…
