    An Algerian will lead Haiti’s first match against Scotland


    FIFA has appointed Mustapha Ghorbal to lead Haiti’s first match at the World Cup against Scotland. Aged 41, the Algerian referee will referee his third match in the final phase of the World Cup, after having already officiated during the 2022 edition in Qatar.
