    The Colombian National Team defeated Jordan without any effort and was ready for its greatest challenge: the 2026 World Cup


    With two goals from Jhon Arias, the Colombian National Teama achieved victory over Jordan in the last preparation match with a view to the 2026 World Cup.

    The national team showed solidity during much of the match and found in John Arias to its main figure. The midfielder was decisive in the result by scoring the two goals of the match and leading Colombia’s offensive actions.

    From the first minutes, the Colombian team assumed control of the ball and sought to create danger in the opposite field. The high pressure and mobility of their attacking men allowed them to create several scoring options against a Jordanian team that opted for defensive order and counterattacks.

    The insistence was rewarded and Arias opened the scoring, giving peace of mind to a team that dominated the actions. In the second half, the same player appeared again to extend the lead and seal the match.

    Arias resolved in the 40th minute, took advantage of a pass from James, a screen in the middle of Puerta and in the end resolved facing the rival goal.

    Beyond the result, Lorenzo took advantage of the match to adjust tactical details and observe variations within the roster that will face the World Cup. The team’s response was positive and left encouraging feelings a few days before the start of the competition.

    With this victory, Colombia concludes its preparation phase and focuses all its attention on the great challenge that the 2026 World Cupa tournament to which he arrives with enthusiasm, confidence and the expectation of making an outstanding presentation.

    A good second half
