Safra Sarasin in Monaco, who is alleged to have accessed and transmitted sensitive financial information relating to Italian businessman Diego Biasi during divorce proceedings involving Biasi’s estranged wife. The allegations, reported by investigative outlet Omerta and Opinion International, suggest the information may have been used to support financial claims during the separation. Several hearings are expected to take place in Monaco in the coming days.
While the allegations concern an individual employee rather than the institution itself, the affair has inevitably placed Safra Sarasin under the spotlight.
