According to the online economy report, citing Tasnim, currently the average air quality in Tehran is in an acceptable condition with an index of 69, and it is expected that this condition will continue until the next day.
Since the beginning of this year, Tehran has experienced 66 days of acceptable air, 12 days of clean air and 2 days of unhealthy conditions for sensitive groups.
It should be mentioned that the air quality index (AQI) is divided into 6 main categories. Based on this division, from zero to 50 air is “clean”, from 51 to 100 is “acceptable or average”, from 101 to 150 is “unhealthy for sensitive groups”, from 151 to 200 is “unhealthy”, from 201 to 300 is “very unhealthy” and from 301 to 500 is “dangerous” air quality conditions.
