The Government has culminated the process of renewal of the Citizen Visa with the selection of the new members and substitutes who will integrate this public participation body.
The new members will be Cristina Rovira Molné, Sandra López Vello, Júlia Pons Obiols, Paula Lucía Loya, Íngrid Blanc Gimeno, Alexandre Foix Baldé, Alejandro Payan Martínez, José Antonio Espejo Pérez, José Benjamin Rodrigo Aleixandre and Damien Bousquet Ribot.
The renewal is framed in the Government’s strategy to strengthen the mechanisms of direct participation of citizenship and move towards more transparent, open and close institutions.
The selection process has been carried out in accordance with the Citizen Participation Regulation and with guarantees of transparency and equal opportunities. The designation was made through a public lottery on May 21, before the General Secretary and two members of the previous Visura, as reported by the executive.
The Government remark that the Visura Ciutadana wants to consolidate itself as a stable space and representative to involve the unorganized citizenship in public affairs and contribute to the improvement of public policies.
